CUSTOMIZATION POLICY
Freeze the Specification Before Production
Custom jewelry contains buyer-selected variables. This draft policy explains how those variables should be recorded, approved and controlled.
Customization Scope
Available changes may include dimensions, wearing size, metal, plating color, stone type and map, setting, logo mark, packaging and labeling. Feasibility is reviewed per design.
Specification Record
The controlling record should identify the approved CAD, sample, material and stone requirements, tolerances, finish, branding, packaging and quality checks.
Material & Color Variation
Natural stones, plated surfaces and production materials may show reasonable variation. Color targets, matching method and acceptable range should be agreed through samples or defined standards.
Change Control
Changes after CAD, sample or production approval must be requested in writing. Cost, timing, tooling and previously completed work may be affected.
MOQ & Production
Development sample quantity and bulk MOQ are different. The bulk requirement depends on design, materials, components, process, packaging and repeatability.
Quality & Tolerances
Hand-finished jewelry requires measurable acceptance criteria where exactness matters. Dimensions, weight range, stone matching, finish and visual inspection standards should be agreed before production.
After-Sales Claims
The order documents should define inspection timing, claim evidence, exclusions and remedies for verified workmanship issues, transit damage, misuse, wear, plating change or stone loss.
Confidentiality & Rights
A separate NDA or project clause should cover confidential references and permitted use. Buyers remain responsible for ensuring they have rights to submitted designs, logos and brand materials.
